Jay Jones holds the following professional degrees:

• Doctor of Education (Early & Middle Childhood)
• Master of Social Work (Clinical/Psychiatric)

He also holds degrees in Behavioral Science and Social Science.  He has been a clinical supervisor and instructor for a variety of graduate schools and universities.

Jay Jones has been a Behavioral Health practitioner for more than 30 years.  He is licensed by the State of California, Board of Behavioral Sciences (LCS9812 & MFC15930). 

He holds the credential of Board Certified Diplomate, issued by the American Board of Examiners in Clinical Social Work (ABECSW).

Activities

Dr. Jones has been a consultant to individuals, families, schools, government agencies and private treatment centers throughout California. He has presented at major national conferences and has lectured and consulted at schools, hospitals and universities internationally.

He frequently consults with attorneys, advocates and healthcare practitioners on disability related issues.  He attends IEP meetings representing the interests of children & families.  He has presented disability evaluavions and testimony to the VA on behalf of veterans living in the US and Southeast Asia.
